Barack Obama – Brief Biography

🧒 Early Life & Education

Barack Obama was born to a Kenyan father and an American mother from Kansas. He spent part of his childhood in Hawaii and Indonesia. He graduated from Columbia University and later earned a law degree from Harvard Law School, where he became the first Black president of the Harvard Law Review.

⚖️ Early Career

Before entering national politics, Obama worked as a community organizer in Chicago and later served as a civil rights attorney and law professor. He was elected to the Illinois Senate in 1996 and later became a U.S. Senator in 2004.

🇺🇸 Presidency (2009–2017)

In 2008, he was elected the 44th President of the United States, becoming the first African American to hold the office. Major achievements during his presidency include:

• Passing the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare)

• Leading efforts to end the Iraq War

• Ordering the operation that killed Osama bin Laden

• Supporting the Paris Climate Agreement

In 2009, he received the Nobel Peace Prize for efforts to strengthen international diplomacy.
